29. John⁴ McPhail (Alexander³, Dugald², Archibald "Maclachlin"¹) was born in Proton Twp., Ont., Can. 1866.

He married Flora Gillies in Cedarville, Proton Twp., Ontario, Canada, 1885. Flora was born 1867. Flora died 1950 at 83 years of age.

John McPhail and Flora Gillies had the following children:

52 i. Flora J.⁵ McPhail was born in Proton Twp., Ont., Can. September 13, 1898. She married Marshall Oldfield in Corbetton, Proton Twp, Ont. Canada, 1935. Marshall was born 1898.

53 ii. Alexander McPhail was born in Proton Twp., Ont., Can. July 23, 1900. Alexander died July 05, 1983 in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada, at 82 years of age. He married Desdemona Corbett in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, August 30, 1932. Desdemona was born in Proton Twp., Ont., Can. May 11, 1902. Desdemona died January 11, 1986 in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada, at 83 years of age.
