10. Alexander³ McPhail (Dugald², Archibald "Maclachlin"¹) was born in Euroch, Kilmartin, Arg., Sct. March 14, 1831. Birth site: Mcphail farm at Euroch. Alexander died 1900 in Proton Twp., Ont., Can., at 69 years of age. His body was interred 1900 in Esplin Presbyterian Chuch. The following individuals are also linked to this event: Rev. He married twice. He married Agnes Fettes in Proton Twp., Ont., Can., est 1857. Agnes was born in Dunnichen, Ans., Sct. July 8, 1833. Agnes was the daughter of William Fettes and Herriet Donaldson. Agnes died February 21, 1860 in Beverly Township, Wentworth County, Ontario, Canada, at 26 years of age. Her body was interred February 24, 1860 in Kirkwall Presbyterian Church C. He married Jean Jack in Proton Twp., Ont., Can., 1862. Jean was born in Forfarshire, Sct 1841. Jean died 1925 in Proton Twp., Ont., Can., at 84 years of age.

34 ix. Mary McPhail was born in Proton Twp., Ont., Can. April 3, 1877. Mary died July 17, 1954 at 77 years of age. She married James Henderson February 19, 1900. James was born in Egremont Twp., Ont., Can. June 18, 1875. James died 1951 at 76 years of age.

35 x. Christena McPhail was born in Proton Twp., Ont., Can. 1877. Christena died 1964 in Mount Forest, Ontario, Canada, at 87 years of age.

36 xi. Malcolm McPhail was born in Proton Twp., Ont., Can. 1880. Malcolm died 1950 at 70 years of age.

38 xiii. Jean McPhail was born in Proton Station, Ont., Can. October 30, 1889. Jean died December 28, 1944 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at 55 years of age. She married Robert Smith McHardy in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, May 1918. Robert was born in Proton Station, Ont., Can. April 25, 1879.
