Kilmartin, Argyll, Scotland[ Home | Messages | Search | Post | Reply | Next | Previous | Up ] Re: GILLIES Cemetery, Elgin County, OntarioFrom: Margaret Kipp CommentsIn September of this year I made contact with a long lost cousin who lives in Wallacetown, Ontario, part way between West Lorne and Dutton, in Elgin County. By the way, the original intention was to name this county Argyll County but politics intervened and it was named after Lord Elgin. This cousin took me and two other cousins, one from Scotland and one from England, to several cemeteries. The one that he personally is involved in maintaining is called The Gillies Cemetery and it is on the Thompson (or third) line, quite near Highway 401. In this cemetery are buried my great great grandparents, Donald and Ann McPhail, who emigrated about 1885 with 5 or 6 of their children (3 stayed at home in Scotland). Donald was 74 when he emigrated. There are also Gillies' buried there. The cemeteries in Elgin County had not been transcribed that last time I checked the Ontario list. <a href='http://messageboard696182.aimoo.com'From: US Comments
.
buy diazepam, cheap diazepam, .
See also cheap diazepam.
Have a nice day!
