I am searching for information on the McKellar family who are buried at the Kilmichel Glassy south of Kilmartin. I am particularly intestered in Peter McKellar 1757-1856 Tacksman of Brenfield, Argyllshire father of Donald 1804-1861 father of Duncan born April 1, 1832. I am looking for information on Duncan in particular who may have immigrated to Canada and could be my great grandfather.

Donald MacDougall/McDougall -b-1819 Glassary,d-1855, married in 1861 his 2nd wife Margaret Lyon -b-1831, E.Kilbride,Lanark,-d-1918 Commercial Hotel, Lochgilphead. Children were: Robert b- 1861;Donald b- 1863;Hugh Alexander b- 1865;Mary b- 1867;Jessie b- 1868;John b- 1872;and Margaret b- 1874. Does anyone have any information on any of this family?
