Ardsgeodnish in  Kilmartin?

Hi!

Just found this forum tonight.

I'm trying to find out as much info as possible about the lands/area once known as Ardsgeodnish now said to lie in Kilmartin Parish. These were originally granted to the Campbells first in feu to King Edward I, then through the Bruce when Sir Neil Campbell supported the Rebellion. Other families lived and worked this land though supposedly.

Can anyone out there be of any help to me in this?

Can anyone help me with the family of John Angus Campbell, born Kilmartin 1829 to Angus Campbell and Jannet Fletcher. He had twin brothers Archibald and Angus born in 1827. John Angus came to Australia. I would like to know what happened to his family in Scotland if anyone has access to the kilmartin census. Thanks. cchinn@tasmail.com
