I am researching my family tree of Crawfords, in which my ggg grandfather ( John Crawford)was born 1794 in Glassary. He was a fisher at Dunmore and married Janet McAlister in 1820 at Clachan ( Kilberry and Kilcalmonel Parish) I am trying to trace his parents but have found two John Crawfords born in 1794 in Glassary. One set of parents would be Alexander Crawford and Catherine Clerk and the other John Crawford and Jean Campbell! John and Janet had ten children, and they all lived around the Clachan area two in Skipness, one, Ronald Crawford was blacksmith at ArdPatrick.

Anyone with any links, l have more information on this family if it is required.
