Looking for further information on Archibald McLullich a canal tracker who married Mary ?? presumably in Kilmartin. Their son Duncan was born in Kilmartin 04 Oct 1811 at Kilmartin but they later moved to Kilmahumaig farm, Crinan.

Dear Kirsten, sorry this e-mail is not to help you with your Hugh McTavish but my gg grandfather was, according to the 1881 census, born on Islay, Argyll, Scotland about 1838. His parents were Robert Boyd and Mary McKirdy. I have not been able to find any record of his birth and finding your entry on the net, thought there might be some remote chance that your Boyds and mine are connected.
