We have information to prove that Peter was born in Kilmartin in about 1840's We are unable to locate the ship he and his family saled to Canada on in the late 1840's. He was a very young boy when he and his family came over. He had no middle name given and his Dad died shortly after arriving in Canada. The ship's name is the most important thing we are needing to find now. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you, Greatgrandson

I am seeking information on James McAlpin, b 1732, he was a teacher at the Foord, Kilmartin. He married Elizabth Campbell, and they had three children, Neil, Suzanna, and Mary.
