He married Mary H. Perry in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, September 18, 1948. Mary was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada June 30, 1928. Mary is the daughter of Alfred William Perry and Gladys R. McPhail.

Arthur Guay and Mary H. Perry had the following children:

2 i. Ian A.² Guay was born in Richland, Washington October 21, 1950.

3 ii. Robert Guay was born in Richland, Washington July 18, 1953.

4 iii. Peter Guay was born in Richland, Washington December 17, 1954.

5 iv. Scott Guay was born in Richland, Washington February 26, 1956.
