He married Britta Maja Andreasdotter in Sweden, December 28, 1862. Britta was born in Sweden December 01, 1840.

Hans Jacob Johansson and Britta Maja Andreasdotter had the following child:

2 i. Gerda Martina Josifina² Hanson was born in Sweden May 06, 1876. Gerda died September 28, 1947 in Tacoma, Washington, at 71 years of age. She married Lars Bernt Thomas Johnson Tusvik in Tacoma, Washington, July 01, 1905. Lars was born in Norway August 25, 1880. Lars was the son of John Jenson Langlo Tusvik and Marte Oline Jonsdatter. Lars died February 07, 1909 in Fairbanks, Alaska, at 28 years of age. (See Lars Bernt Thomas Johnson Tusvik for the continuation of this line.)
