He married Sarah Fettes. Sarah was born Egremont Twp., ONT., CAN. 1883. Sarah was the daughter of William Fettes and Mary McPhail. Sarah died 1959 at 76 years of age.

Neil McEachnie and Sarah Fettes had the following children:

3 ii. Laverne McEachnie was born in Proton Twp., Ont., Can. Abt. 1911. Laverne died April 28, 1987 in Mount Forest, Ontario, Canada. She married Cecil O Fairbairn. Cecil was born Egremont Twp., ONT., CAN.. Cecil died in Mount Forest, Ontario, Canada. (See Cecil O Fairbairn for the continuation of this line.)

4 iii. William John McEachnie.

5 iv. Aubrery McEachnie was born Abt. 1913.
