He married Janet WATT in Airth, Stirlingshire, Scotland, December 9, 1794.⁽⁶⁾ Janet was born in Polmont, Stirling, Scotland March 26, 1769.⁽⁷⁾ Janet was the daughter of John WATT and Janet GIB.

Robert's occupation: Farmer.

Robert HEUGH and Janet WATT had the following children:

2 i. William² HEUGH was born in Scotland. William died in Australia. His body was interred in Maitland NSW?. William's occupation: Soap and candle manufactu.

3 ii. Elizabeth HEUGH was born in Airth, Stirlingshire, Scotland May 29, 1809.⁽⁸⁾ Elizabeth died October 30, 1887 in Maitland, NSW, Australia, at 78 years of age. Her body was interred in Presbyterian Cemetery, East Maitland. She married Michael SCOBIE in Airth, Scotland, February 2, 1829. Michael was born in Airth, Stirlingshire, Scotland October 3, 1802.⁽⁹⁾ Michael was the son of John Alexander SCOBIE and Agnes MITCHELL. Michael died February 24, 1903 in Maitland, NSW, Australia, at 100 years of age. His body was interred in Presbyterian Cemetery, East Maitland. Michael's occupation: Farmer.
