He married Janet Young BRAND in 3 Meadow Park Street, Glasgow, June 30, 1887. Janet was born in Noodhead Street, Dunfermline, Scotland December 1, 1861. Janet was the daughter of James BRAND and Catherine Rutherford BALFOUR.

David's occupation: Teacher, Artist, Engraver.

David Leuchars ANDERSON and Janet Young BRAND had the following children:

4 ii. Catherine ANDERSON. She married Mo KNEESHAW.

5 iii. William 'Bill' Ian ANDERSON. William died in Redcliffe, Brisbane, Qld, Australia.

+ 6 iv. James Brand ANDERSON was born July 21, 1888.

+ 7 v. Duncan Balfour ANDERSON was born about 1905.
