He married Sara McLeod in Epoufette, Michigan, 1907. Sara was born in Epoufette, Michigan March 29, 1888. Sara was the daughter of John R McLeod and Caroline Goudreau. Sara died December 14, 1967 at 79 years of age.

Richard Parcels and Sara McLeod had the following children:

8 i. Lester Harold³ Parcels was born in Beaver Island, Mi December 12, 1908. Lester died April 24, 1992 in Michigan, at 83 years of age. He married Beattrice Sarasin est 1940. Beattrice was born April 01, 1919.

9 ii. Clifford R Parcels was born in Beaver Island, Mi August 24, 1910. Clifford died January 10, 1986 in Michigan, at 75 years of age. He married twice. He married Evelyn ?. Evelyn was born October 17, 1912. Evelyn died January 06, (?). He married Gladys ?. Gladys died December 26, 1982 in Michigan.

10 iii. David R Parcels was born in Rexton, Mi November 07, 1913. David died November 26, 1979 in Michigan, at 66 years of age. He married Evelyn Johnson.

11 iv. Caroline Elizabeth Parcels was born in Rexton, Mi June 02, 1920. She married Gilbert E Moody August 13, 1966. Gilbert was born May 16, 1908. Gilbert died July 26, 1991 in Turlock, California, at 83 years of age.
