i have an uncle called john mcphail, who is deceased he was murdered in Johnstone renfrewshire. his father was robert mcphail who died when he was around 45 years of age, he used to live in seedshill road paisley.Robert was married to Margeret, whos maiden name was black. her fathers name was walter black and he worked or had connections to a quarry. i dont know if this helps at all but if so, or if you think there could be a connection please do not hesitate to get in contact. i am also looking for an uncle named ronald, who is the brother of john who was murdered. We have not had contact with him in a long time and know that he is around the age of 68. We last contacted him in London by telephone. we also have a connection to canada. Robert, who is my great grandad, his wife's brother immagrated to canada, with his wife and son, who was called walter black. hope this helps love linda mcphail
