Hugh McPhail (MacPhail)b. Glasgow Scotland 1861 moved to Canada (Orillia Ontario) and Married Sara Elizabeth Whipps b. 1859 (Whitby Ontario) children: May b.1883 - Hugh b. 1885 - Georgina b. 1887 - Margaret b. 1889 - Thomas b. 1891 - James b. 1894 - William b. 1896 - Ralph b. 1898 - Arville b. 1902 - The family seemed to split with about half of the siblings remaining in the Barrie Ontario area and half moving to the Detroit Michigan area.
Any help would be MOST appreciated!

PLease contact me at aforementioned E-Mail, I have a very interesting story pursuant to our family name. My grandfather came from Ireland (Belfast), member of the movement, (Catholic, IRA), came into No. America through Nova Scotia, setteled in South Boston, Changed name from MacPhail to McPhail. This happen cicra 1905, I remember a Uncle Archie (Archer) MacPhail.
