Researching Alex McPhail born in Scotland est. 1830. He met Anna Fettes, who was born est. 1835 and the got married est. 1850. They migrated to Ontario Canada, where they lived out their lives. They had several children, about 12 and most of them continued living in the Ontario area. Archibald McPhail and his brother Sandy McPhail migrated to Washington State USA, where they lived out their lives. Dougald MacPhail continued living in the Ontario area. I have not other sibling names at this time. If anyone has any info on my family in the Ontario Canada area, please post the information here.

PLease contact me at aforementioned E-Mail, I have a very interesting story pursuant to our family name. My grandfather came from Ireland (Belfast), member of the movement, (Catholic, IRA), came into No. America through Nova Scotia, setteled in South Boston, Changed name from MacPhail to McPhail. This happen cicra 1905, I remember a Uncle Archie (Archer) MacPhail.
